As a single mother of three, first generation college graduate and the first Chief Operating Officer of the Southeast premier podiatry practice, Dr. Palmer Roberts is self-motivated, well-rounded and a proven leader. She understands the value of sacrifice, hard-work, and determination. Starting from humble beginnings, she has developed a solid respected reputation throughout the City of North Charleston for her servitude and passion for others.
Born and raised in the Liberty Hill Community of the City of North Charleston Dr. Palmer Roberts brings a strong awareness of the progress made throughout the City of North Charleston, but understands the necessary work that lies ahead in the pursuit of equality, equity and inclusion. Dr. Palmer Roberts is driven by the social exchange theory which argues that trust is the underlying result of positive interactions among individuals and organizations…You can trust her to represent the best interest of District 4 and the City of North Charleston. As an accomplished leader, she has a proven track record for developing and managing complex organizations and projects. With 30 years of management, legal, human resources, and organizational leadership experience, Dr. Palmer Roberts is the best candidate to represent the District 4 seat for the City of North Charleston City Council.
Currently, Dr. Palmer Roberts is the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Cabinet Member of Physicians Footcare, the Southeast’s premier podiatry practice with offices throughout the states of South Carolina, Georgia, and New York managing the day-to-day operations of a multi-faceted organization with over 100 employees.
Her proudest achievement is being a single mother of three, Cameron, Kaitlyn, and Courtney all of whom are thriving in their own way. Her children are her inspiration.
As an accomplished and valued leader, Dr. Palmer Roberts has a proven track record in community involvement with a skill for adaptability. She is a pragmatic and focused individual whose versatile leadership experience is laser-focused on supporting the needs of the community. Performance-driven with the ability to deliver outstanding results in a highly visible role, Dr. Palmer Roberts is ready to accept the challenge to represent District 4 and serve the City of North Charleston.
